Engineering is a human intellectual and practical activity (and related process) aimed at designing, creating, constructing, using (operating), linking to specific and changing circumstances, maintaining, refining or destroying a concept, model, product, process, system or technology.
Engineering exists on a continuum from primitive spontaneous ingenuity to the heights of reflexive, based on scientific knowledge and critical (highly organized) thinking, learned and highly organized professional specialization. Any person is, to one degree or another, a forced engineer of his life and its arrangement in a sociotechnical environment. In engineering, one can distinguish a complex (system) of universal principles, rules and skills that ensure the best quality of any constructive activity, whether it is aimed at inanimate things (technical engineering) or at improving social and personal life (social engineering).
An engineering education trains students in the knowledge and principles of professional engineering practice. It includes bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees. However, you can start working after a bachelor’s degree. The areas of engineering education cover chemical, mechanical, computer, construction, marine engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architectural design, etc.
